Outgoing president Aaron Porter takes to the stage in a shirt of dubious colours. He says he wanted every meeting to be about the priority campaign this year, including an extra-ordinary meeting to discuss the way forward. Porter explains that students can hold their officers to account by looking at the voting records which are available online.
The NEC and the trustee board had many discussions about the priority campaign – and a strategic session was held to decide on the way forward. Aaron is “immensely proud” to have have chaired the NEC, and that they have been a real credit to students and students’ unions.
