He says that it was probably right to go into the coalition with the Conservatives but he adds that he was always scared that a Conservative agenda would return to politics.

He adds criticism for the Liberal Democrats too, saying that when you make a “sactimonious pledge” the least you can do is keep it.

He says he would have voted against the rise in tuition fees and describes his politics as slightly left of NUS. He says NUS have done superb work to lobby MP’s and that this struck to the heart of Government.
