Massy: The public see Direct Action as being associated with criminal damage

Massy asks whether the movement is here for self expression or to realise a political aim. He says that if the aim is that of the latter then direct action is a misguided tactic.

The public has a fairly settled view, he says, that the public generally agree that students should pay for their education.

He then calls Scotland, despite being scottish himself, a “basket case.”
