At the ‘Protest on Trial’ finge event, NUS Disabled students officer discusses her experiences on November 10 NUS protest. She described the feeling of leading the march of 50,000 as part of the disabled students campaign. “I felt as if I was right at the front of it,” she said.
Watching the coverage of the protest on television she wasn’t happy that the violence overshadowed the peaceful march. On the day she condemned the actions at Millbank. Now she is not too sure. “I think that I understand how it happened,” she said.
